Competition Terms and Conditions

ELIGIBILITY

The Prize Draw is open to all who register their interest in the Regional WA Airfares and Air Travel Survey, provided that they are legal residents of Australia. Each survey respondent is permitted a single entry in the Prize Draw. The promotion of this survey and the Prize Draw is subject to all applicable laws and regulations by the governing state of Western Australia. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements outlined in the Terms and Conditions.

Employees (including contract and agency staff) of the Department of Transport and their immediate families are not eligible to enter or to win any prize offered in this Prize Draw. For the purposes of this Prize Draw:

TIMING

Entry into the Prize Draw opens upon distribution of the survey by Painted Dog Research, and closes at 11:59 pm Sunday, 5 May 2024.

ENTRY

To enter the Prize Draw, a respondent must complete the survey and application to enter the Prize Draw by 11:59 pm Sunday, 5 May 2024.

RESTRICTIONS

Only one eligible participant is permitted per household for the Prize Draw. Any attempt by a participant to obtain more than a single entry by using multiple/different e-mail addresses, identities, registrations and log-ins, or any other method(s), will void all of that participant’s entries. Use of any automated system to participate in the Prize Draw is strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification and all entries submitted or received via such automated system will be void.

PRIZE DRAW & VERIFICATION

All entries into the Prize Draw will be collated into a single database at the close of the nominated period and then an appropriate algorithm will be used to randomly select the six winners. All winners will be drawn and contacted by Monday, 20 May 2024 via the email or phone number they provided. At this point, the winners may nominate to redeem their eGift from a range of selected retailers. If a winner is unsuccessful in responding to our email or phone call within 3 months of contact, a back-up winner will be selected. This process will continue until an eligible winner has been selected and receives their prize. Winners may be required to show proof of identity before receiving their prize.

PUBLICATION

The six prize winners will be published on the Painted Dog Research website. No information will be disclosed beyond the winners’ first and last names.

PRIZE DETAILS

Upon claiming their prize, five individual winners will be sent a $100 Flexi eGift Card via email and one individual winner will be sent the grand prize of one $1,000 Flexi eGift card via email. Initially, this reward will have a long validity period of 3 years (i.e. from the date of purchase, not when received by the winner). However, the winner should check the date shown on their Flexi eGift Card email.

Winners will be prompted in this email to nominate a selected retailer to claim their eGift Card through. Once this selection has been made and the Flexi eGift is redeemed, the expiry date of the voucher is determined by the selected retailer. Vouchers are typically valid for 3 to 6 months after selection. For this reason, it is very important for winners to check the expiry and validity periods shown on their vouchers once they are received.

Any unused value after the expiry date of a Flexi eGift or voucher will not be refunded or credited. When value is converted into a participating retailer’s voucher, the conversion is final and cannot be reversed. Lost or stolen eGifts cannot be replaced or refunded.
